Our Adventure Begins

I am waiting at the Vancouver airport for our flight to Beijing.  I'm not sure how long the flight is because of the time difference but the ticket says 45hrs :)  My longest flight up until now has been 4hrs so this could be interesting, but I will not mind a moment of it knowing at the end of the journey we will have Jaida.  Our layover in Vancouver is 5hrs, I didn't notice it when I booked the flight-just looked for the cheapest (so hopefully I saved lots).  So happy there is internet so I can get my fix for the next 5 days. 

I am so looking forward to relaxing on the cruise before getting Jaida.  It will be so nice to spend time with Jason and see parts of the world we would never have a chance to see.  It will also be good to have the time to get over the jetlag so we can have lots of energy for Jaida and the emotions she will have.

I sent Jaida a care package for her birthday on 7 Nov.  We will be with her very soon after her birthday but still want her to celebrate her special day with her friends there.  Hopefully we will get pictures but won't know until we are off the cruise 12 Nov.  We just sent a small care package through Ann of Red Thread which included a letter to her, camera, pillow, card and most importantly cake
