We decided to have a quiet New Year's Eve at home. Jason is leaving in a couple of days so really we just want to be together as much as we can. I thought lobster would be a special treat for the night but I got out voted with everyone else wanting wings. We played games with the boys and watched movies and rung in the New Year with Hayden (convenient thing of time zones). We all had a turn at dinner time saying the best and worst part of 2010 and what we wish for in 2011. We all seemed to have moving and selling the trailer as the worst of 2010. The thing Hayden wished for was for all his baby teeth to fall out because he wants only big teeth when he gets his little sister. He then wanted to change his wish for 2011 to getting his little sister. When is was Jason and mine turn to reflect on 2010 the best part was how we over came the hard part of the move and are a happy, strong family. We then told them that we were going on a road trip as a family to Las Vegas and LA and then a cruise during their March Break. I wish we had video taped the moment because they were all so excited. Hayden wished we would have his little sister before we go on our cruise so she could come with us. I love how he is always thinking of her. We were at the mall the other day and he threw a coin in the fountain and wished for his baby sister. He doesn't want her to be too old because he wants to be a big brother and show her stuff (he already has a pile of books and toys to give her when she comes)
With the excitement of the 2011 beginning and the 2010 over but the great memories, I think about our daughter who will someday be with us. It has been a long road but I really think 2011 will be the year.
