More of my wishes came true this week-I found out we are going to get Jaida in November :) Jason called me on Monday to tell me of the great news that our letter seeking confirmation was sent to our agency and Bob called Jason and we are able to go with the November group. The paperwork was then sent to the Alberta social worker, Jason picked it up and Fed Ex to me (which I received it yesterday). It makes it more challenging trying to get all the paperwork done, flights booked and things bought with me away from home but it is getting done and so worth it.
I booked the flights yesterday and also a cruise. Jason and I are going on a 5 day cruise from Hong Kong and having ports in Vietnam and China; before we fly to Nanchang to get our amazing daughter.
I am off to the field tomorrow for 6 days for work so trying to get everything done this weekend

Updates
I am so happy to make more memories with you Jaida. I really thought we would be getting a four year old (and I have a room full of stuff to prove it) so now to think that we will be together for so many more firsts is a huge blessing-crawling at one, learning to talk and ask why for everything at two, and playing games and I'm sure shopping at three; they really are all my favourite ages.
I was so excited yesteday morning to open up my emails and find an updated from Yuling for Jaida. She is so little but is a fighter and the updates show she growing

Introducing DongFang Mingyue
DongFang Mingyue
Born 7 Nov 2010
SWI Taihe County, Jiangxi Province
I can't believe this beautiful girl is my daughter. I am the luckiest person to have such a wonderful family and now this amazing, strong girl is part of it.
I knew the referrals were coming on 29 Aug so I was anxious and excited in hoping this would be our month to see a picture of our daughter. I am away in St.Jean QC for my Primary Leadership Qualification so with the time difference, figured if we were to get a referral I would hear from Jason between 1100-1200hrs(on Tuesday). That was the longest hour ever and I was feeling nauseaus the whole day (you can get morning sickness even with adoption:) I never heard from Jason so I tried to hold hope for the unlock of files on Thursday night. Again Friday morning, staring at the cell phone but nothing. Then on my way to Ottawa with Stephanie to spend the weekend with her, the phone call I had been waiting for came from Jason. He told me her age and he had to repeat it three times because I didn't think it would be possible to get a referral for a girl that young. We had request a girl up to the age of 4 so I had in my mind for the past year she would be four. ( I now have that much more shopping to do and will have to pack away all the things I have bought the past 6 months-but it was still good retail therapy for me). I could wait to get to Ottawa to read about this little girl and see the pictures. Never did I think it would be pausible for her to be so beautiful.
Because of the long weekend we were unable to talk to our International adoption dr and had to accept her by Sunday, 4 Sep 11. I tried not to get too excited until I talked to the dr, and tried to stay calm. We wanted this for so long it was hard to believe it was really happening.
On Wednesday night I arranged to talk to Dr Baxter between 10-11pm. I sat in a room that had phone and waited. Again a very long wait until she called at 1055pm (and talked until almost midnight), hoping our little girl was going to be healthy. I talked to Dr Baxter and it good to get more information, that only a dr can tell from the paperwork. There is some concern because of her low birth weight, but any adoption is a leap of faith. After talking to Jason that night, I could let my heart open completely, fall in love fully and share the great news with everyone.
